Brooks~Meffert Wedding

Last weekend I went to the wedding of my friends daughter!
It was so  beautiful!

Jessica looked like a princess!
She has the prettiest blue eyes I've ever seen!

Look at that smile!

Maid of Honor helping her put on the finishing touches

Sisters

Lovely bouquet!

Handsome groom!
Boy, he's all smiles!

Mother of the bride.

Here she comes!

She's the picture of perfection!

Daddy's about to give her away!

Cute, Cute, Cute!

The happy couple!

Wow!
That's a kiss!

I was all the way in the back row of the wedding.
But I came armed with my 300 zoom lens,
so it looks like I'm right up there with them.

Off to the honeymoon!

I didn't get any good full body pictures of Jessica
cause I was trying to stay out of the way of the real photographer!
I surely didn't want to get in his way!

Oh my, what gorgeous pictures you took. Mid way through I was wondering how you were able to get the professional photographers photos so fast and see you took them. I'm so impressed. The gown and her necklace are JUST stunning. Thanks for sharing. I loved them. I think I might have to scroll through them again.

My Dear Friend,

Thank you for taking these beautiful, beautiful pictures! Obviously, as the mother of the bride, I think Jessica is the most beautiful bride I've ever seen & my Taylor was the most beautiful bridesmaid that there has ever been. My new son-in-law Ben & my handsome hubby Jay clean up pretty well too! ;)

You forgot to mention in your blog that you are the one responsible for giving her the beautiful ribbon that holds the antique cameo that belonged to my Mammaw Edith, and you are also responsible for making the beautiful framed chalkboard!

Before they left, Jessica packed it well in bubble wrap so it can be shipped to them in Washington state. They will be there for a little over 3 years while Ben is serving in the Navy & she wanted to make sure she took the things that were most precious to her so she could feel connected to her home & her loved ones. The chalkboard was one of the things she made sure to pack & you know how much she loves you.

When I start missing her badly, I'm so thankful I have these pictures I can look at & remember what a beautiful day it was. Thank you for being there with us to share in her joyful day, for taking & sharing the beautiful pictures, but most of all for being one of the dearest friends I could ever ask for. I love you!
