Almost Turkey Day!

Thanksgiving day is fast approaching, and I am bit excited! My son and girlfriend along with baby Alvis are supposed to be coming up. Then he calls last night and says he might be changing jobs and may not get to come! Insert sad face! But I am gonna stay hopeful!

I am thankful for so much in my life there is no way I could ever list it all! First and foremost I'm thankful to be a child of God, and I'm thankful for his presence in my life.

Seems way to early!

I just can't seem to get into the Christmas spirit yet! Well the truth of the matter is, I have had trouble with this since the 1980's. I don't decorate my house and rarely do I decorate my booth. Most go all out for the holidays, but I would rather relax and enjoy my family and not be overwhelmed by hoards of decorations.

I know what you are saying, I must be a grinch! Not really, I love all that there is about giving and try to do as much as I can. But the over abundance of glitter is not my thing. As I've gotten older the phrase "less is more" is what seems to apply to me. 

I look forward to spending time with family and friends in a quite surrounding. There I've said what I've wanted to say here for many years! It's all out in the open!

Texas Rose

I am reminding all my great customers that I will be set up at Texas Rose field for the Oct. show in Texas, it is right across the road from Marburger. I am so excited about the new venue! Getting Ready for Texas!

I've been working like a busy bee getting ready for Texas. I have decided to switch fields this time. I won't be setting up at Marburger Farms, Craig will be there in our same space. I am moving over to the Texas Rose field, across the road from Marburger Farms. I am very excited about my new location.

My booth will be right in front of the building. If you are out and about make sure to stop in and see me. I will have lots of crusty painted pieces and lots of ironstone. I will also have a ton of jewelry I've been working on, this is something new for me.

AND, I will be setting up at the County Living show in Atlanta in Oct. I'm super excited about that too!

Gosh, it's been a month

Gosh it's been a month since my last post!

This has been a crazy summer for me.

Numerous changes, a tree fell on me,

I had an ear infection more than a month, 

been down in my back, a result of the fallen tree!

I just can't seem to get things together!

I have so many things I want to do,

but every time I get started something else slows me down!

I can feel a change coming!

As soon as I can get back on my feet I have to start

getting things ready for the Texas show.

Getting Ready for Brimfield

This is one of my all time favorite booths we did at Marburger Farms.

We will be leaving this week for Brimfield.

I looking forward to it.

We haven't been there for a few years now.

We will be at New England Motel

on the road next to the booth we used to have.

Night Stand, Nightmare!

I have a bad habit of taking my jewelry off and throwing it down on my night stand.

I was going to clean this mess up yesterday, but decided I liked the way it looked.

Thought I would share my night stand nightmare with you!

I feel the need to break out the
Nikon 3100 and take some new photos!

Playing catch up!

I've been trying to visit all my favorite blogs. Makes me sad to see some don't blog anymore. I guess everyone loves FB. I prefer blogs, they tell a story and FB is just an instant fix.

I have so many things going on right now I don't know what to tell you first. We are doing the Nashville flea market in June and will be going to Brimfield  in July. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making some money.
