In Honor of Me?

Isn't this the cutest face you've ever seen!

While we were in Texas, Theresa Cano hosted a blog party, just as she does every show! She ask if everyone would bring a dish to the party, but she ask us to create a serving dish from junk! This was a hoot!

As soon as I walked up to the party I met a group of bloggers that I'd never seen before! You see, that's what's so much fun about this party! The first one to speak up was
Lisa of Tarnished and Tattered! And there where 4 others in her group, but forgive I am terrible with names! I do remember one of the bloggers was Karla of Karla's Cottage.

Anyway! Lisa said they all wanted to meet me and they were very sweet. Then Lisa speaks up and says, I made my dish in honor of you! Are you serious! I knew it had to have something to do with a doll head!( Anyone who knows me, knows I love doll heads and parts!) Sure enough she pull this fabulous serving dish out of her bag and I nearly lost my mind! I was so excited about the dish I couldn't even think about visiting with anyone else! I told her I wanted first chance at the dish if she was willing to part with it! I would have been happy to pay her for it! But sweetheart that she is, generously gave me the plate! It is now one of my most treasured belongings! Thank you so much Lisa!

That is just over the top cute

Well...how fun is that! Especially considering it was made in honor of you! I think you could spook it up a little if you decorate for Halloween. A mini-mask with eyes peering through comes to mind. Hugs- Diana

It suits you perfect! Even though I tried to get her to sell it to me, you know I did it teasing you, it was a fun party for sure!

OMG!
How sweet of her! I love doll parts too, especially their heads, and who wouldn't smile when looking at that?
How cute would that be for serving goodies at a baby shower?

Tot's Tot! Girl...she's got you pegged! That girl's talent blows me away and I don't know which I would cherish the most...the dish or her gesture. Both are beautiful and a little bit crazy!

I don't know what it is about doll heads and parts. They scare the crap out of me. I'll be walking through my store and get this feeling someone is starring at me. Sure enough, it's one of those doll heads looking right at me! I do, however, love the serving dish. Really a good idea.

Take care, Sue

TOT,
OMG, my doll head plate is famous now!! I'm just waiting to see her in your next Country Living layout, LOL! I love that put that big hunk of coral on top, it looks like her brain. Oh, I shouldn't say that, people think I'm spooky enough already. Imagine being called 'a little crazy' by Miss talking trash! Lisa
BTW, the word verification on this comment is the longest in blogger history!

Oh please you practically forced the girl to give it to you. Like anybody else had a chance at it. And what a story just make something up that sounds good ......just kidding. But what do you expect I want it!!!!! I'll get Craig to make me one. Lauri
