New Inventory Added.....But, I Really Need Some Help Bloggers!

I spent the day shaking up the shop and adding some new junk!
Thought I would share a few photos with you when I ran into a problem!

I need help bloggers.

Well, my photo storage is out, renewed last year for $5.
It seems now it is at least $2.49 a month? Really?
But when I tried to renew it won't let me cause I have no credit card or bank account saved in GOOGLE WALLET?
What the heck is google wallet?
They want me to send a scanned copy of drivers licenses
passport papers, bank statement........the list goes on!
Is this for real?
I'm not sending anybody anything!
I have never even heard of google wallet.
I know what you are saying, what rock has she been under?
How in the world to you set up your google wallet account?
Is this a total scam?
Please, please, please somebody help me!
Sorry! As you can see I'm sorta freaked out!
Please enjoy these photos,
as I may never be able to post again! Hahahaha!

There is such a thing as google wallet account.
This must be the new way to pay for storage?
The last time I paid with pay pal!

  1. I wouldn't send anything either! I've never heard of that google wallet thing either. Why would they want so much info for photo storage? Don't do it, that's what I say! Love all the pictures by the way!

  6. Google Wallet is a virtual wallet that stores your payment information securely. More info here: http://www.google.com/wallet/

    Hope this helps!

  7. Hi,

I "googled" google wallet and apparently it is something new set up by Google for mobile paying. But I STILL wouldn't send that info onto the internet. Doesn't sound safe to me!
Love your shop photos! Very charming!

  8. Well, based on my reading - Google wallet is legit. I went into Picasa as I also purchased memory for $5. Mine doesn't expire til 2013. It says the $5 plan has been replaced by monthly plans and yes the cheapest is $2.49. But when I went into my memory use section and "manage"d the account, it let me go further and read about new plans and it says that I can keep my old $5 plan if I have google wallet and my information is kept up to date...J

  11. I've never heard of that. If you go to your google account you should be able to just add a credit card on your own and renew through there, that's how I did it.

  13. Regardless if that's legit or not, that is way too much personal info to have 'out there' and I would never do it. There are a lot of free sites out there. I would investigate them. Also, are you just out of space on your computer? Can you store them on a flash? A really good flash maybe 20 bucks but can store a huge amount of visual images.

  15. Your photos are gorgeous. I am convinced that google is intent on world domination...bit by bit...inch by inch.
I am not sure we have much control over the storage thing except by moving from blogger to Wordpress or a website of our own. They even tell you they basically "own" your content. Creepy.

  18. Well I can't help you because I've never even heard of paying for photo storage! As for all that info they want, even if it is for real I wouldn't give anybody that much information about myself.

  19. I just had to increase my photo storage space. It cost $5 and I did it through PayPal. Sounds like a scam to me.

  22. Hi Theresa,

I recently found this link about picasa web album storage very helpful:
    http://support.google.com/picasa/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1224181

So did you know that uploading pictures not bigger than 800 x 800 pixel to blogger is always free? If you run out of storage space they automatically resize your pictures to 800 x 800 if they are bigger than that, that's all! So don't worry anymore and keep inspiring us!:)
Sending you warm Summer wishes from Germany

    Have a great weekeend, Elizabeth

  24. Miss T I just put pix in a "folder" on my laptop. Why do you have to store them someplace else? My son set up a free "dropbox" so I can get pictures and other things from one computer to another. Check out dropbox. If you come to the July Brimfield I'll have Luke set it up for you!
