Hide That Black Box

Please excuse the fact I don't have any floors or baseboards installed yet! I'm am still in the purging mood and have gotten rid of tons of smalls and large furniture. I've moved several things around and created a new place for the TV to rest! I'm lucky enough to have a WHITE flat screen TV, but I still have that ugly black cable box! My solution for trying to hide it, is some large black leather bond books. I think it works pretty good, what do you think?

I'm linking up with Kathleen's WW today!

  1. That is one of the best ideas I've seen, love it! We have our T.V. in our armoire, but I know lots of folks who've wondered how to mask the box cleverly, I'll just have to share this idea with my friends, have a wonderful Wednesday, and thanks for sharing, xxx

  4. I didn't even see it until you pointed it out! Great idea but won't it over heat if you cover the vent's?

  17. It definitely works, I think that everybody has problems with boxes, cables, etc. and not to mention video games, I would love to come up with an idea to hide all that.

  21. I made the decision to get rid of the cable box, but should I decide to hide my ondesk extra drive storage I will have to borrow and adapt this idea.

I'm playing blog catch up and loved all the things you had at the show! Especially that fabulous staircase! It has to be so exciting selling to the big names. I know I'd be thrilled to pieces!
And Rachel Ashwells place had to be a blast to visit too! Very comfortable and laid back. *winks* Vanna
