Rebecca and Donna's Visit

As most of you already know last week Rebecca and Donna came to visit me!
We had a great time and it was a pleasure playing hostess!

Look at these two, they are cute as a button.
They are as lovely inside as they are out!

We had some very interesting conversations about life and the Lord.
After their visit I have done some soul searching and spent a few hours meditating!

Several bloggers choose a word to start off the new year with,
and I decided I would do the same.

My word for 2012 is: GROW
I intend to grow many things this year!
My faith.
My happiness.
My relationship with my husband.
My health.
My friendships.
My family ties.
My business.
My time. (Yes, I want to find more of it for me!)
The seed that Rebecca left with me!

To sum it all up,
I intend to GROW a better me!

I don't exactly how all this will take place,
but I have a whole year to work on it.
And I feel strong enough to depend on the Lord to send me what I need,
when I need it!

THANKS GIRLS!

I'm not sure you can "grow" any sweeter than you already are, at least in my book. You have always got my back and I appreciate you so. I am going to hook you up with my Franklin friend Penny, for the Marketplace gig - You two just have to meet! I wrote her yesterday...and girl have I got work stories to tell you. lol

give me a week and I'll give you a ringy dingy.

Love it. Start plowing that field girl...'cause I know the Lord is going to give you a bumper crop.
That Rebecca is something else and now I'm hoping to get to meet Donna.
Their visit was a blessing in more ways than one and I thank you for sharing that blessing.

I really LIKE your post, a lot! I had made my New Year's Resolution to be: "the dog days are over"! Meaning, I want more in my life than just working without "feeling" the rewards. When I see our numbers, that is a reward in a way. But I need to spend more time not just growing my business, but the other parts of my life as well. I've blown off my friends so much this past year because of work. Thanks for reminding me of what is important in life, I appreciate your words.

Take care, Sue

Hey Sweet Girl...
I had such a good time with you, thank you.
I love your word for the year!
Growth... once you sow the seed, it needs time to take in the nutrients. It will lie under the ground without any indication of growth for sometimes longer than we would like but the seed is transforming inwardly. With water (water is a reference to the Holy Spirit in the bible) it will sprout, spring up and grow strong to bear fruit.
2Cor.9:10
Now He that supplieth seed to the sower and bread for eating, will supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and cause to grow your fruits of righteousness. In every thing being enriched unto every kind of liberty. Which indeed worketh out through us thanksgiving unto God.
Looking forward to a year of growing together in Him.
Blessings
R

I had so... much fun spending time with you and your family Theresa! I have been thinking about you and praying for you each day since I got home! (And then there's the daydreaming about your gorgeous home!)
I love your word for the year and so glad that you tilled things up and turned them over to the Lord. Let Him take it from here!! I am right there with ya though! All you have to do is call my friend!
(this picture of me is the very reason I don't like having my photo taken...ugh!)
Hugs from here

Theresa, how wonderful to get to meet fellow bloggers and especially ones that inspire you to "grow"!! I have many of the same goals this year. And to be more organized!! So glad you had a great visit. I am leaving this message via my kindle fire!

Thanks for giving me the heads up! I figured as much that Blogger
was having issues. In the meantime, I changed my comment box.
I hope I can do the same. Seems like everyone is so darn far..
I agree. Growing is good for the Soul ;)
Have a fantastic week!

T, you are a blade of grass, an angel hovers above and whispers...grow, grow...
