A Little Shopping

Did a little shopping on Monday.
Found some pretty cute things!
2 jars, 2 ironstone mixing bowls, some organ pulls,
show form, soft bristle paint brush, pictures
and some prayers cards!
I've been looking for these prayer cards everywhere!
I finally found some!

I can't wait to make something out of these cards.

And this book is the bomb!
It is dated 1847!
It's not a Bible, but it is something religious, I think it is German.
The words on the pages are embossed.
It is all to pieces,
I don't know if I should  take it apart and sell a few pages at a time or leave it together!
The font is lovely.

I love it!

These pictures where in the book!

Some of these finds may make their way to
The Vintage Market Place Show

What great finds! I would love those prayer cards.....and your book! Much GOODness with treasures inside! Keep us posted on what you do with those prayer cards. I have collected a few Bibles and I love to read what others have written in the margins. Holiness.
Have a great day.

Not just the bomb, but the bomb.com!
Check with the Red Shed girls in Grapevine. They always have a ton of prayer cards they bring back from France.

I want it all. A couple years ago I came across some organ pulls, I liked them, they were a great price, but for some dumb reason I didn't buy them. Did you make a quick trip to House Things? I currently have prayer cards and an 1875 German Bible for sale. I didn't take much time to look through my Bible, I should've cause I bet it has some great images just like yours. Great finds!
