Hide That Black Box

Please excuse the fact I don't have any floors or baseboards installed yet! I'm am still in the purging mood and have gotten rid of tons of smalls and large furniture. I've moved several things around and created a new place for the TV to rest! I'm lucky enough to have a WHITE flat screen TV, but I still have that ugly black cable box! My solution for trying to hide it, is some large black leather bond books. I think it works pretty good, what do you think?

I'm linking up with Kathleen's WW today!

That is one of the best ideas I've seen, love it! We have our T.V. in our armoire, but I know lots of folks who've wondered how to mask the box cleverly, I'll just have to share this idea with my friends, have a wonderful Wednesday, and thanks for sharing, xxx

It looks good, but then again I don't think you could ever make anything look bad :)

I didn't even see it until you pointed it out! Great idea but won't it over heat if you cover the vent's?

I think it is a great idea. I need to come up with something similar here.
Enjoy your evening.

I really didn't notice it at all. Agree with post above though, check to see if overheating. Might have to rearrange that order!

I think it is a great idea! NOW if they could only make the TV SCREEN white- would that be perfection, or what? xxoo Diana

It definitely works, I think that everybody has problems with boxes, cables, etc. and not to mention video games, I would love to come up with an idea to hide all that.

This is pretty good camouflage! I had to do a double take. Great solution.

I made the decision to get rid of the cable box, but should I decide to hide my ondesk extra drive storage I will have to borrow and adapt this idea.

I'm playing blog catch up and loved all the things you had at the show! Especially that fabulous staircase! It has to be so exciting selling to the big names. I know I'd be thrilled to pieces!
And Rachel Ashwells place had to be a blast to visit too! Very comfortable and laid back. *winks* Vanna
