It's a Boy!

Ultra sound has revealed that
grand child number 2 for this year,
is a BOY!
I am so excited!
Although my daughter, not so much.
She's thirty and this is her first child and she desperately wanted a girl.
After they told her it was a boy, she cried!
That broke my heart!
But the baby is healthy and that's the important thing.
I think once she's had a chance to get used to the idea
and she actually see's the miracle, she will be fine.
She is considering the name Oliver,
which I dearly love!

All is crazy around here, as we leave in a couple of days for Texas!
If you have any plans of coming to Marburger Farms be sure to stop by and say HI!
I'm in Tent H, Booth 17

I won't be posting for a couple weeks,
but I will be taking tons of pictures!

Children are truly a gift from God! I have one son, so I'm partial to boys! I cant wait to be a grandmother, well let me re-phrase that since Logan is only 16...One day I want to be a grandmother. What is this upcoming grandson going to call you???? Congrats, Tiff

Oh I was the same way!
and then when I was told I couldn't have anymore it broke my heart no little girl would be coming to my house. But yes she will soon see that life if life and no matter the sex it is the most cherished thing in the world.
Congrats Grandma!

How exciting TOT! A boy! I love the name Oliver. That is my grandfather's middle name. I am sure your daughter will warm to the idea very soon. My youngest daughter felt the same way about having a boy. She got her girl (who is now six) and when I see my daughter with her nephews, I know she would have loved having a boy just as much as having her girl. Maybe when she decides to have a second, she won't be so leary of a boy.
Have a great show dear friend.

Congratulations to you all!!!! Love the name. Soemtimes the ultrasounds are not correct. They told my Nicole that she was having a boy and it turned out to be a little 'Fibi Pearl' :) Being a grammie is the best too. Can't wait to see lots of pictures!!!

Congratulations! Babies are a gift from GOD! They smell so brand new! I love the name Oliver. That would be beautiful. That is so sad that your daughter was upset so. I can only imagine how that made you feel. A few days of that baby in her arms and she will swear that she was crazy to want a girl!

Safe travels.

Blessings,
Shelley

Tell her I thought I wanted my only child to be a girl, too, but having a boy was the best thing if you can only have one child. I'm so glad I had a boy (who is now 21 and a Marine in Afghanistan)!

Theresa! Please tell your daughter that BOYS are marvelous! There's very little "drama", they hold no grudges and they always "go with the flow" during life's ups and downs! Oh, and the best part is they LOVE their momma! Can you tell? I have TWO. I thank God everyday I had boys and she will too!

Hi Theresa, Congrats on your new baby grandson! We look forward to his arrival. Your daughter will be fine; my daughter did the same thing. But, a mother's love takes over, and it doesn't matter whether it's a boy or girl. Our granddaughter (18 mos) is visiting us this weekend! Can't wait. Have fun in Texas; wish I could be there! Hope sales are good.
